Finding treasure

No doubt produced for the tourist market this papirus featuring the Goddess nut found it's way to my local op-shop. As the Goddess of the sky Her body created a canopy over the earth. She was the sister/wife of Geb, the god of the earth. She was also the mother of Isis, Osiris, Nepthys and Seth. Such is the way of things Her titles significance and attributes changed over time with the ebb and flow of history.
